Does anyone have a SQL server I could use for testing? It would need to have SSL so I understand if you don’t
Or know of a place that I can test at that has SSL on their MySQL server.
Nothing ready-to-go. Still, would it be maybe possible to do a set-up following one of these options:
- Free tier at any of the major cloud providers or one of the neo-pagan providers piercing the Lorica segmentata, e.g.
- Something like XAMPP installed on a local machine - heard you be getting a Windows laptop (that can also have a Linux side-install) - so look at:
- If you need more consideration, look for discussions like these:

As you just want to test I suppose, any throw-away solution should be good enough. One can simply go for the next one if something is not adequate.
Haven’t checked the SSL aspect though.
So let us know if more input is needed.

Laragon looks good. I noticed that it will create SSL certificates for HTTP, I wonder if they can be used for the MySQL as well? I’ll email them about it.
Edit: their contact doesn’t work
