A simple change to url_table in exec-filters.cpp would use %20 instead of ‘+’. Is there any reason to maintain backward compatibility with the ‘+’ conversion?

Hi Bill. Mark has made the change to urlEncode to encode with %20 instead of + for spaces. This will be in 0.9.15
So it seems that only AppleScript was coded for. Added JavaScript back into the mix and it’ll be in 0.9.15

Interesting, because I don’t think anything has been changed in regards to constants. I’ll check to see if it worked in Community Edition and see about getting it to work in HXT

I’m pretty sure that is a new addition to 10. They have also added a way to describe arrays as a constant and even use functions in constants.
According to the dictionary entry
“a constants value can be anything, including arrays, as long as it can be computed when the script is compiled. The majority of operators and functions can be used, as long their operands and arguments are literals or other (previously defined) constants”
That has never been in the open source version. It was a good addition that was made after the source was closed.

Indeed. Mark had already started working on array/sequence things that would be needed to make them constants.
Then the dictionary needs corrected.
on Mac OS 26.5.1, when the menubar is set autohide, it sometimes become transparent when appearing, making the menu names almost invisible against the desktop
Does that only happen in HyperXTalk or other applications as well?
yes. Only in HyperXtalk. It works as expected when it first opens then randomly turns transparent later.
